Colloidal stability of wines (liquid solution)

Silkypred is the exudate obtained either naturally or from removing the bark of trees of acacia seyal.

Characteristics:

  • Silkypred is a gum of remarkable purity due to the rigorous selection of raw material and filtration which it undergoes during its production;
  • Silkypred is composed of stable macromolecules that prevent formation of neutral colloids which are responsible for potential haziness in wines;
  • Its action as a protective colloid allows the stabilization of wine and participates largely in the improvement of its organoleptic qualities.

Usage:
In order to use silkypred, it is essential to ensure that the wines are perfectly stabilized when bottling and already clarified.
Dilute silkypred in 5 times its volume of wine. Add to the tank and mix well or use a venturi system.

Dosage:
100 – 300 ml/hl

Storage:
Store unopened original package away from light and frost in a dry, cool and odorless area.
