Dynamic Crossflow – DCF
VA Filtration is excited to introduce our newest in-house designed filter – Dynamic Crossflow! Dynamic crossflow, as the name implies, is the movement of a membrane in a liquid and not the movement of liquid across a membrane. In other words, the membrane is moving and the liquid is static. Using rotating stacked ceramic filter discs, our DCF has the ability to filter liquid from slurries with high solids content. In the wine industry, this means the ability to filter lees without DE powder or oxygen pickup.

- No oxygen pick-up
- No DE powder required
- Filtration down to 0.2 microns so spoilage bacteria is removed
- Flow rates from 100 gph to 300 gph depending on size of machine used
